Marni has been involved in the performing arts from the young age of three, training in various forms of dance and music. Flamenco has always been a special passion since the time she was first introduced to Spanish classical dance & flamenco through the instruction of Conchita de Pechtel. Marni has trained with Angel Munoz, Alicia Marquez, Tomas de Arroquero, Felicia German, Christina Hall, Deborah Ibach and Fiona Malena. More recently Marni’s flamenco passion has broadened to include the vocal tradition of flamenco. Since beginning as an aspiring flamenco cantaora, Marni has been fortunate to share the stage with many local professional flamenco artists, including Fiona Malena, Tosh Hayashi, and Rosanna Terracciano.
Marni plans to visit Seville, Spain in 2009 to further develop her skills as a flamenco vocalist.
